OK - so I need to get into this blogging thing. I guess I am supposed to write (type) about stuff that is happening with the Jones. But then I'd have to have stuff happening...

Alan has set this retirement date as May 2. When he met with the HR rep, he suggested the date be Alan's hiring anniversary, so that's the date (27 years with the VA). When we get all our Dr. appts. finished we will be about ready to submit our mission paperwork. So our leave date will probably not be until some time in the summer. It pushes things back a little but not much.
